Prism Medical UK are providers of specialist equipment for the safer moving and handling of mobility disadvantaged clients in a range of care environments and in the community.
As a group, we have over 30 years’ experience in developing and supplying moving, handling, and bathing equipment, as well as working closely with the clients and caregivers who use them.
From manufacturing a range of products to responding effectively to moving, handling and bathing requirements to the full assessment, installation, training, service and repair of these products, Prism Medical UK provides a full product and service solution to our customers.
We operate to the highest standards of quality and compliance across all our customer service activities, with ISO accredited quality management systems, Investors in People and a full range of trade and industry accreditations and memberships.

We pride ourselves on providing a localised service, within a close proximity to our customers, whilst having the overall resource base of a national company.
To facilitate this commitment to providing superior service, we operate five Regional Service Centres throughout the UK, in addition to two manufacturing centres.

As a company we are fully committed to local recruitment wherever possible, including a focus on employing trainees and apprentices, demonstrating our support for the communities where we operate.
• Freeway Division, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, North Wales – Hoist & Shower Chairs/Stretcher Manufacture on a 50,000 sq. ft site
• Westholme Division, Grange Moor, West Yorkshire – Sling Manufacture on a 18,000 sq. ft site
Focus on delivering new products to the market
Prism Medical UK has a Research & Development department at our head office in Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, North Wales, which consistently develops a range of innovative product solutions. Our products are fully compliant with all relevant design, manufacturing, quality and safety standards
We work in partnership with the University of Salford to conduct research initiatives that are proven to be beneficial to the sector.
