Osterna is an NSI approved provider of high quality and fully compliant BAFE SP205 Fire Risk Assessments for property throughout the UK. Operating from regional offices and field based positions across the country our assessors are well positioned to be deployed to sites in any postcode location.

Our team hold a myriad of fire / H & S qualifications with all staff having the Level 3 NEBOSH Fire Certificate.  Many have advanced Health & Safety fire-related qualifications including the Level 6 NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety which includes an in-depth fire module.  All assessors are members of at least one professional organisation that may include the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) (mainly at Grad IFireE or MIFireE status) as well as the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) (status ranges from CMIOSH to Tech IOSH).

Working within the private, public, commercial and educational sectors we continue to provide Types 1, 2, 3 & 4 Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Assessments for a variety of clients on all types of buildings, ranging from small converted houses to blocks of flats of 10 storeys or more, premises of mixed commercial and residential tenure, Community Centres, over 55 social and private residential complexes, small, medium and large offices, shops and leisure centres, schools and HMO’s. Through our ‘partnerships’ with other specialists in their own respective ‘fields’ we have access to providers for additional services such as External Wall Surveys.

The sectors we serve in continue to evolve and adapt to changing legislation as well as different client and consumer needs. The product we provide (a high quality and reliable risk assessment) is just one part of our proposition; another key part being customer service. We believe that our approach to customer service is as important as the reports we provide which mean that collectively they work together in making a real difference. As a ‘representative’ of our client we form part of their overall service programme which they provide to their customers and stakeholders so we are totally professional in our delivery before, during and after each site visit. Customers, tenants, residents and visitors will form a perception of Osterna based on what they see, hear or read so we work very hard to create an excellent first impression followed up through the delivery and support thereafter.

Resident engagement is becoming more important and is very much on the ‘horizon’ so we engage and communicate with all relevant parties to help educate, advise and enhance their understanding and knowledge of general Fire and Health & Safety related matters.
