Shepherd Court

For this scheme in Rochdale, we converted a former retirement living scheme into a 20-bed sheltered accommodation scheme for people with individual needs, ranging from recovering alcoholics through to drug dependency recovery.

Within a limited budget, we made sure the design concept and furniture was suited to its residents: robust and durable but also homely and somewhere they’d feel proud to live in. Starting our work at the beginning of the Covid-19 global pandemic also created challenges – but our teams worked hard to deliver a scheme that everyone was happy with.
