The Sortimo Globelyst racking solution consists 100% of materials which are recyclable such as aluminum, steel or high grade plastic. Each van racking solution can be fully recycled at the end of the vans life. Consequently the lightweight construction with the aluminum space frame architecture not only substantially reduces the fuel consumption of your commercial vehicle, which preserves the environment but also saves cost.
Globelyst has been designed on a modular frame allowing the racking to be adapted and added to as and when your business needs may change.
Sortimo have designed the racking to be installed without any drilling into the vehicle chassis by utilizing existing fixing points on the vehicle and using the Sortimo Sobogrip floor for securing. This process allows anti – perforation and anti – corrosion warranties not to be invalidated.
Upon consultation the sales representative will meet with customer to design a 3D CAD layout which will provide a 360 degree view, unique quotation number, drawings and parts list complete with individual weight per component.
Crash Testing
Sortimo use the ECE17 test to measure the crashworthiness of a fully loaded Solution. The entire Sortimo product range is subjected to this test to ensure that all of the load restriction points stay attached after the crash.
Sortimo are the only company with the confidence to crash test loaded racking systems up to 980kg, exceeding the European standard 25 times and nearly twice our closest competitor. 980kg loading @ 23g force (45kmph)
The crash testing process is continually evaluated with design improvements to the products made as part of our constant desire to be the best and offer the safest product.
Duty of care to our customers and the public is of the up most importance to Sortimo and we meet all of the requirements of the UK PUWER and DOT Regulations.
Type Approval
Sortimo International are dedicated in complying with the requirements of Type Approval set by the certifying body NQA and have been approved by the VCA for full ECWVTA Type approval and enhancement conversion. We are members of the SMMT, FTA (Van Excellence Bronze Partner), and hold the current ISO9001 Accreditation and N1 Type Approval.
Sortimo Internationals goal is to ensure that all vehicles being converted by us as a company meet the standards set forward by the Vehicle Type approval Legislation in terms of safety, the environment and security.
OEM Approval
At present Sortimo International are approved suppliers for the Ford Motor Company, Vauxhall, VW, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot and Volkswagen.
Warranty & Durability
Sortimo racking is built to last a minimum of 12 years, meaning at least one transfer but in most cases our customers will get two or three vehicle life cycles out of the same system. Not only does this help with Environmental impacts but it also offers a considerable cost saving when spread across the whole life.
The Sortimo system is offered with a full comprehensive warranty of 4 years on all Sortimo Manufactured Product.
