A&B Glass Company Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act on the 6th February 1981.

In 2005, Asset Manufacturing (Thetford), followed later that year by Fineline Windows (Rochester) were acquired by A & B Glass.  The companies were merged to become Asset Fineline, still part of the A&B Glass Group but with a sole focus of servicing the Social Housing, Military, Education and Healthcare markets.  A&B Glass Group has grown to a company with turnover in excess of £38,000,000, solely focused on the manufacture, supply and installation of PVC-u windows and doors for B2B customers with fabrication plants in Suffolk and Yorkshire.

The merger brought a major re-investment to modernise the Asset Fineline administration centre, updated computer software to help ‘fast-track’ quotation and production orders plus new and additional plant and equipment.

Asset Fineline has become a name synonymous with quality and commitment regarding the manufacture and installation of PVC-u, aluminium and timber windows, doors and associated products utilising Eurocell and Halo PVC-u window systems. The company also supplies and installs Composite front entrance and fire rated doors and is an Exova certified fire door installer.

The company provides customers with technical advice, specification, survey, design, manufacture, through to the delivery and installation, including bid writing and budget costing and has a growing and significant commitment to recycling products to avoid landfill.  The business operates largely in the South East and East Anglia and is CHAS, SMAS and Constructionline approved and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations as well as all the fabrication standards expected of the business of its size and stature.

The business has a long history of quality installations on time and on budget and are able to supply references for a large variety of projects large and small, New Build and Refurbishment ranging from £2,500 to £2,500,000 in size, working with many of the major contractors operating in the sector and direct to Local Authorities and RSL’s.
