We want to improve people’s lives. That includes individuals in our local community, tenants living in the homes managed by our customers and families supported by the charities we donate to.
“I’ve been on a fact-finding mission with the working group team so we can all understand exactly what Inprova does around social value and establish a baseline. That’s both what the business is doing but also what our staff are up to, the charities they are involved in, the volunteering they’ve done and what causes are close to their heart. If you ask people to give up time and money then the charities and activities have to be chosen by them. If a cause resonates with everyone they will get more out of it, and we’ll raise more.”
What we’re doing
Case Study: Energy Hardship Fund
In the run up to Christmas 2021, Inprova raised over £20,000 for the Energy Hardship Fund.
Set up by HACT, the Housing Association Charitable Trust, the Energy Hardship Fund provides energy vouchers to social housing residents who are facing difficult choices between heating, eating and other essential everyday costs, including rent.
Throughout December, Inprova staff contacted customers and suppliers, asking them to contribute to this important cause. Our employees also donated themselves and this team effort resulted in an incredible £20,423 being raised.
This contribution will help HACT to distribute £1 million of energy vouchers to over 16,000 social housing households across the UK – their target for 2022
