Everything we do at PfH is centred on having a positive impact on people’s lives – it’s part of our DNA, we’ve been creating social value in various forms for years and it’s something that motivates our entire workforce.

At the start of our ESG journey, our focus was on building processes and gathering data to measure our impact on people’s lives. We wanted to benchmark our activity so we could challenge ourselves going forward.

And that’s exactly what we’ve done over the past 12 months. Many of the targets set in our first ESG report have been surpassed. Spend with SME suppliers has almost doubled, the number of net zero products procured has grown by 200%, and our social value contributions have risen by 20%.

Ultimately, we work in a sector that is all about supporting local people and local communities. This document shows how PfH holds itself to account around this purpose going forward.

As a procurement organisation we have the ability to impact a wide-ranging supply chain as well as the decisions made by hundreds of social housing providers.
