CLC Contractors is a successful property and asset maintenance contractor with a commitment to providing clients with a high quality, reliable and safe service.

Since our early days as specialist painting contractors, we have grown into a multi-trade business, expanding our services across multiple sectors with a skilled and experienced workforce of over 1,000 employees based across 14 branch offices throughout the UK.

We specialise in passive fire protection and have been delivering these works to public and private sector clients for over 20 years.

Our People

We directly employ skilled and qualified tradespeople from the local areas in which we operate. We believe that by investing in our people and providing them with training and progression opportunities, we pave the way for a committed team of individuals with a passion for what they do.

We also have Directors spread across all our branches, meaning our staff, clients and supply chain can walk into a branch and speak directly to a member of the board. With an accessible management structure, our company is “small enough to care but big enough to cope”.

Accreditation’s 

 FIRAS

We are accredited to FIRAS for Cavity Barriers, Penetration Sealing Systems, Fire Door Maintenance, Fire Rated Timber Fire Doors, Composite Doors, Dry Lined Partitions and Ceilings

The register contains the details of companies who are certified installers of fire protection in accordance with the requirements of the FIRAS Schemes. Each FIRAS Certified company is required to continue to demonstrate compliance with industry standards, material/product manufacturer installation instructions in order to assure clients that the fire protection installed by them is correct to specification and will afford the required fire protection.

The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP)

A UK advisory trade body founded in 1975 to represent, support and promote the activities and key issues affecting the fire protection industry in the UK and, increasingly, internationally, in relation to all forms of passive fire protection. Recognised as one the UK’s leading authorities on the importance, specification, procurement and installation of PFP products, and giving a voice to all those involved in the supply chain of PFP (including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, installers, specifiers, certification bodies and end users).

BAFE Fire Protection Scheme Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

An independent register of quality fire safety service providers, who are certified to ensure quality and competence to help meet fire safety obligations.

HILTI – Firestop Contractor Programme

We have been nominated by HILTI as a key supplier of their products and as such benefit from access to new innovative products before they reach the market. We also have access to regular training sessions from HILTI which can include attendance by our clients.

Fire Protection Association (FPA)

The UK’s national fire safety organisation and one of 28 similar national bodies worldwide, working to identify and draw attention to the dangers of fire and the means by which the potential for loss is kept to a minimum.
