Legionella Risk Assessments and Water Hygiene Services

Legionella is a dangerous bacteria that causes potentially fatal Legionnaires’ disease. It can proliferate in poorly maintained water systems.

Rock Compliance is proud to be a Rank No.1 Supplier on PfH England and Wales for Compliance Solutions (Legionella Risk Assessments and Water Hygiene Services). We’re also on the PfH Scotland framework.

National coverage

Rock Compliance has 12 offices across the UK and over 200 engineers. We deliver all our services using highly-trained in-house operatives, supported by a large office-based team.

We currently work with multiple housing associations across the UK, ensuring they meet water hygiene compliance requirements.

As an andwis group company, we’re committed to using only the most innovative technology and advanced engineering skills.

Housing 2025

Are you going to be at Housing 2025? We’d like to invite you to join us on stand P111 in the PfH Live arena.

Ben French and the rest of the Housing 2025 team will be on hand to discuss our Legionella prevention solutions and latest Water Hygiene products.

Water Hygiene compliance solutions

We offer a range of innovative compliance solutions designed to deliver on our core promise to minimise risk, deliver compliance, and make it simple.

  • Copper and Silver Ionisation
  • Easy to install
  • Easy to monitor
  • Highly effective against Legionella, Pseudomonas and any negative gram bacteria
  • Ongoing low level disinfection
  • Low energy
  • Non-chemical (prevent COSHH)
  • Sustainable

The technology in our ionisation solution generates a constant supply of copper ions (Cu) at a predetermined rate and delivers them into the water system in a highly controlled and systematic way, in line with proportional control.

The copper ions penetrate the bacterial cell wall, creating an entrance for silver ions (Ag) to penetrate the core of the microorganism and immobilise it.

As a result, there’s no more cellular growth or cell division, so the bacteria eventually die out. For long-term control, the ions then remain active in the water until they are absorbed.

  • EPIC asset management

EPIC is our bespoke asset management system, developed to reduce risk on site.

It can be tailored to suit specific needs, providing diaries of works, a record of non-compliances, full service reports, and many other aids to successful asset management.

  • Remote Temperature Monitoring (RTM)

Automated reporting is another way to increase efficiency and reduce risk. By enabling full reporting 24/7 and setting alerts on low-used outlets, managing the water system becomes so much easier.

No more concerns around access to site or scheduling appointments – with RTM, monitoring is carried out round the clock to reduce the risk of bacterial growth.

It’s better for the environment, too, eradicating the need for engineer visits and saving energy and water.
