Nova Group Limited commenced trading in 1971. Nova Group Limited is owned by Nova Double Glazing Systems Limited, which is a dormant holding company.
We have become one of the industry leaders in the high quality manufacture of PVC window and doors, aluminium windows, residential, bi-folding and commercial entrance doors, secondary window systems, double glazed sealed units, single toughened safety glass and conservatories which we supply into the Social Housing Sector, retail and commercial sector.
We manufacture all of our own products and offer the highest level of thermal efficiency with our A rated window. This incorporates our own sealed units incorporating Neutral Plus thermally efficient glass which provides an overall U value of 1.4 W/m²K. In these days of energy awareness and high bills this offers your residents cost savings on heating bills and can help in carbon footprint reductions.
All of our products are manufactured at our 100,000 square feet factory in Altrincham, Cheshire on state of the art manufacturing equipment. Over the last 10 years over £5 million has been invested in fully automatic cutting and machining equipment, in the PVC, aluminium and glass departments which has removed a lot of the need for human input into the manufacture, thereby reducing the risk of human error.
We employ 170 people at this single site and all of our products are manufactured in full compliance with the relevant British and European Standards. We hold the following Kitemark accreditations issued by BSI on our products:
- BS 7412 – Performance Standards of windows and doors
- PAS 24 – Enhanced Security Performance of windows and doors
- EN 1279 – Performance standards for double glazed units
- EN 12150 – Performance standards for toughened safety glass.
In addition, all of our products are manufactured under a Quality Management System accredited by British Standards Institute to ISO 9001 and we are one of the few double glazed unit manufacturers that have achieved accreditation with British Standards Institute for our Environmental Management System to ISO 14001.
We are also Secure by Design accredited and hold the Investors in People award.
Because we manufacture all of our own products, windows and glass on our own single site we are not in anyone else’s hands – everything is within our own control including our own transport fleet. This means that we can make promises on deliveries, confident that we will achieve them – this is crucial in ensuring progress on site. We can offer very fast turn turnaround of deliveries of this is required.
Our broad range of products manufactured and experience with both glass and frames allows us to offer exceptional knowledge of the products available in the market place. This scores us highly when giving advice for ad-hoc situations for which standard frames may not be suitable eg due to noise, glare, security and safety.
Nova Group Limited supply two sectors – Social Housing partners and trade installers who then supply and install the products into retail properties. Unlike a lot of our competitors we do not offer 2 different specifications of product to these 2 sectors. The same window that we offer to PfH is the same window that may be installed into a million pound house in Cheshire. We bring retail attention to detail with the highest quality specification to your social housing stock, at commercial rates.
