Specialising in the provision of care professionals to the housing and health and social care sectors, we‘re proud of our values that set us apart, professional, ethical, forward thinking and, above all, passionate.

Unlike many agencies our team isn’t distracted by sales targets or commission, we’re focused on what matters most to you, delivering the right solution to your exact support needs.  Whether you are a potential client or candidate our expertise in this specialist area means you will always receive the highest levels of service tailored to your specific requirements.

From our humble beginnings in an office in Coleford in the Forest of Dean in 2005, we now operate out of 5 offices across the South West.  Dean Healthcare’s core business is the provision of care, support, and nursing staff in a variety of disciplines across a range of sectors throughout the South West.

Our team has over 40 years experience in recruiting for and managing teams within the care sector over a period of 33 years which has created a thorough knowledge base and we are well established. This experience is passed down to staff through an intensive induction and training programme and then through a structured and monitored management process which underpins their knowledge ensuring a safe working practice.

We offer specialist training commensurate with the requirements of our staff’s roles ensuring all are competent in their field of work. As a standard, staff are required to complete induction training which is fully compliant with the Common Induction Standards and the training required by Skills for Care for all social care workers.  In addition, we are committed to promoting continual professional development of our staff by engaging with 3rd parties to facilitate NVQ or equivalent training and providing sector specific training where appropriate.

We have a large capacity to provide residential, nursing, domiciliary, supported housing, community and home care services.  We specialise in care for adults and children with learning and physical disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders or mental health needs who may present challenging behaviours or have profound complex needs.

As a Care Quality Commission, registered agency we are fully compliant with current legislation and regulations. Our recruitment practices are externally audited by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and, including permit to work checks’, are deemed safe and appropriate. As a registered body with the Disclosure and Barring Service, (DBS) we conduct our own DBS checks and operate a robust process that involves senior management and board approval for identifying and assessing risks.

Our business covers local and national organisations on primary, secondary and multi-agency supply agreements. Dean Healthcare works in strong partnerships with the people who use our services; these include our staff, clients, service users, local authorities, commissioners and advocates as well as other 3rd sector organisations.

We develop our services by listening to clients and strategically planning to ensure appropriate outcomes are worked towards and achieved. Through these relationships we have listened to and shared ideas embracing many new processes and technologies.

We invest in innovative solutions to improving service delivery, examples of this include a dedicated clinical supervisor, an office based out of hours team, web based recruitment solutions including invoicing and shift management and a bespoke Customer Relationship Management database.

We want long term mutually beneficial relationships taking a proactive approach adding innovation and value at every opportunity.

Finally the reason we were set up is to fund a charity meaning our ethos is very much in line with social impact which separates us from other suppliers making us potentially more attractive to those customers who want to make a difference socially.
